About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker specializing in individual adult, couples and adolescent psychotherapy, and maintain a private practice in Hoboken, New Jersey serving the surrounding areas of Jersey City, Weehawken, North Bergen, Bayonne and Union City.

As an undergraduate I received a BFA in painting at Tyler School of Art, Temple University.

I decided to pursue social work and received my MSW from New York University Graduate School of Social Work.
I am fully licensed as a Clinical Social Worker in the state of New Jersey.

As a social worker I have worked with at risk youth in residential treatment and group homes throughout New York City and Brooklyn, and as a school social worker in various high schools throughout Queens.

To enhance my clinical skills I attended and completed post graduate training at the National Institute for the Psychotherapies in New York City, which is a four year training program in Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy. After working as a clinician in outpatient mental health clinics in New York and New Jersey I began my private practice seeing individual adults, adolescents and couples.

I am very involved in activities within the psychoanalytic community and attend ongoing psychotherapy study groups, professional conferences, and have interest and training in areas such as trauma, addiction and couples therapy.

I blend my art background with my psychotherapy practice and enjoy working with creative people with various issues including those experiencing creative blocks.
